First, the nuts are collected and cracked open to reveal the kernels. These kernels are then roasted, pounded, and ground into a thick paste. The paste is later boiled and stirred to separate the fatty substance, which solidifies into shea butter as it cools. This unrefined form preserves the natural richness, vitamins, and nutrients, ensuring it retains its nourishing and moisturizing properties, making it an ideal skincare ingredient. The resulting butter boasts its natural ivory or yellow color and a distinctive nutty aroma.
